Kambiz, Manchester, UK: August 2011
Great villa and very professional service from the owner, Thanks Cliff. We had a memorable holiday and would definitely come back. To wake up to that view every morning is what holidays are all about

Janice, Dorset, UK: September 2010
The direct communication with the owner of the villa, before, during and after our holiday was invaluable. As a family of 5 we would definitely recommend hiring a car as we did. This enabled much more exploring/sightseeing not to mention all the trips to the supermarket and the various markets! As others have said, the views from the villa are stunning, very spacious and all our meals were eaten on the perfectly shaded patio area. BBQ was great to use. Our teenage sons made good use of the Skype calls to the UK ! There was never a crowd problem at the pool. We loved the peace and quiet, the local villages, the Aqua Park near Bodrum, boat trip from Gumusluk, the smaller markets ( not Bodrum ) and of course the hot weather.

Jamie, London, UK: August 2010
We had a fantastic time at this Villa. The rooms are large, the kitchen is well equipped and the villa is extremely comfortable. Superb swimming pool only 30 seconds walk from the house and there were always free sun loungers available. This is brilliant value for money and I highly recommend staying here.

Jennifer, Ludlow, UK: August 2010
The property is nice with all you need. If you do not rent a car you need to be pretty fit to handle the steps and get to the bus stop though buses to Gumusluk are frequent. Also the shop is a good walk in the hot weather so you need to buy what you need when in Gumusluk as no quick popping to the shops. Though lots of info and help from the owner who had advised that a car would make life easier. The Villa has nice views is clean with comfy beds, and has a well stocked kitchen. Pool area is clean with a small bar that serves drinks and sandwiches that are not expensive

Jim, Redhill, UK: July 2010
Cliff showed a lot of personal interest and was very helpful before during and after the holiday. The villa had lovely views and you could spend hours just looking and taking them in. The skype phone was exceptionally useful especially after we had a serious health problem. The Turkish people were all very friendly and helpful although the language is very hard. We would not hesitate in going back. A lovely Villa in an ideal location.

Stuart Ralphs,  Nottingham, UK: October 2009
This villa is perfectly situated for those who would appreciate and enjoy amazing views in a quiet location but within easy reach by car of some interesting local beaches. Its well equipped and the addition of some air conditioning since our first visit a few years ago was much appreciated. Despite not having its own pool, the shared facility is just a minute or twos walk and is well maintained Im sure well visit again some time and would recommend it without hesitation.

Helen Clarke,  Guildford, UK: August 2009
"Villa Adakani is an exceptional villa and really is a home from home. It exceeds all expectations and the views are absolutely beautiful. The attention to detail in the Villa and the service provided before and during our stay from Cliff the owner was outstanding. The area is a little hilly, but you wouldn't get the views if you weren't on the hillside so it is a small price to pay and could be overcome easily if you hire a car. There are only a few steps down to the pool, which is really clean, always had enough sunbeds free for the 7 of us and the snack bar is excellent value. Even the games room and gym was large and clean with 3 pieces of modern gym equipment if you are that way inclined during your holiday! I would recommend this villa to everyone including families with young children or teenagers. The internet access and extensive DVD collection were a big hit with our teenagers. Travelling by Dolmus is easy so we travelled to livelier resorts like Turgutreis for boat trips and market days, it only take about 15 minutes. I cannot imagine how anyone could be disappointed with this villa. Look no further, book it and I hope your holiday is as enjoyable as ours was! "

Thank you so much Cliff & Ann for letting us share this beautiful villa. Absolutely stunning! The view, the people, the markets, everything about Turkey is amazing. Enjoyed everyday of our two weeks stay, and if you will let us, we will be back.

George & Linda, Sussex, UK : October 2008
The villa is very spacious and clean with the most amazing views of all the islands. We sat on the lower floor balcony where we had all our meals because the views are so stunning. We had peace and quiet and all the locals were very friendly. The pool is very stunning and also very clean and their is a small snack bar. The villa is very well equipped so we could listen to CDs and also watch the TV. Their is plenty of books and games to use if you fancy a day around the villa. Their are supermarkets nearby that sell fantastic fresh bread daily. If you want stunning view and total relaxation then this is definitely the place. It was so nice that my partner decided to stay another week and we had already been there two weeks.

We had a wonderful time staying at Villa Adakani. We loved it !!!! It was so beautiful and spacious, the view was to die for, we really had a blast and thank you for your detailed directions, we were able to get to the villa with not too much trouble. Thank you again for sharing your beautiful villa with us. It truly was the high light of our trip. Best regards.

Trevor Cole & Family, Hertfordshire, UK : August 2008
we had a great holiday and thoroughly enjoyed the stay at Villa Adakani. The views were lovely from the balcony terrace. The place was clean and well equipped and the shared pool during our stay was never over crowded and at times we were the only tenants enjoying the facility.

Chad Hensley & Family,  Istanbul, Turkey : August 2008
This villa is beautiful with a beautiful view of the bay. It is very well stocked with everything you need, especially the kitchen. We enjoyed our stay there and appreciate all the attention to detail that the owner has shown. There was some construction the week we were there that made it a little difficult to get in and out, but when its done it will be even better.

Dirk Roggen, Antwerp, Belgium : July 2008
Excellent, comfortable, splendid view, nice atmosphere at the swimming pool (lovely Turkish locals and tourist). We had rented a car (via Cliffs ref.) from the airport for a few days to get the necessary stuff. They picked it up again at the villa ( very reliable company). The rest of our stay we managed well with the Dolmuses.

Lyn & Dave, Congleton, UK : June 2008
The villa was exactly as the web site displayed, in fact it was even more spacious! The owners have maintained and furnished the property to a very high standard ensuring all the home comforts are considered. The quiet location ensured a restful stay whilst the excellent location on the Bodrum Peninsula made most of the main resorts no more than 30 minutes away by car. The shared pool was fantastic and certainly was a bonus at the end of a hot day. Views from the both of the villa balconies and the poolside were breathtaking any time of the day or night. The gardens around the villa were always being tended and the team of site maintenance people were very helpful. Overall a lovely place to stay if a relaxing holiday is desired.

John & Charlotte Scott, Loughborough, UK : October 2007
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your excellent and perfectly positioned house. It was the best holiday we have had as far back as we can remember. It was a blissful time without any routine or duties and what an enchanting swimming pool, quite the prettiest we have ever seen. It is a lovely place with so much variety and all the people were so helpful. I do hope that we can come again one day if we remain fit enough.

Anett Graff, Reykyavik, Iceland : September 2007
"We very much enjoyed our stay and the villa is so beautiful. You really feel like home there and you will find everything you need. Thanks so much!"

Isy & Ray Summers, Stafford, UK : September 2007
Superbly equipped villa, Home from Home, in an outstanding position overlooking the Greek Islands. We would recommend this to any of our friends as a quiet and relaxing place to stay with easy transport available to all areas of the Bodrum Peninsula. The pool on the site is lovely with views from your sunbed over the sea to the islands and only ourselves using the pool and sun terrace on may occasions. We found the other villa users to be very friendly and enjoyed their company also.

Asif & Errim Mahmoud and family, Durham, UK : August 2007
Villa Adakani exceeded our expectations in every way. Location - can't even begin to describe the view across the bay absolutely amazing! The villa was a lot bigger than we expected and extremely well equipped. Loved the telescope and all the little extras, it certainly felt as if we were in a friends home. I'm glad we rented a car, you certainly need one to explore the surrounding villages, beaches, markets and generally get out and about. Villa Adakani is a gem of a place and we would definitely visit again - next time perhaps in the winter.

Bruce Barrett & Family, Ascot, UK : August 2007
Villa Adakani is a spacious well appointed villa in a stunning location. My family of 5 had a wonderful time, and the size and layout of the villa was such that we could all have our 'own space' if needed. The views across the Aegean, and south down the rugged coast are 'to die for' .. with sun sets being particularly beautiful. The only thing I would say is that the development itself is not really suited to elderly visitors or those who are not particularly mobile. Travel around the Bodrum peninsular by Dolmus was cheap and reliable, but visitors with elderly relatives or children in pushchairs should seriously consider car hire for at least some of their stay. My family and I very much hope to revisit the villa again in the future.

John and Elisabeth Semple and family, Toronto, Canada : July 2007
We had a wonderful time.  Everything that Cliff says on the internet page is accurate.  The villa, views, pool and neighborhood were absolutely fantastic.  The quick walk down to the seaside was easy and the water was perfect. The villa was central to many great Turkish spots (Greek and Roman ruins, Bodrum's nightlife and wonderful restaurants).  Markets were close and had a great selection.  All in all, we will be back for another two weeks.  Thanks Cliff.

Laura and Gareth Patalong, Leek Staffordshire, UK : July 2007
This is our second visit and everything was just as we remembered (and better) from two years ago. We really liked the new bathroom that has been installed and as ever the warm swimming pool was really inviting on those long sunny hot days. (Our young son thought the pool was fantastic). Had a great time with no problems at all. Thanks.

Mrs Jane Lockwood & Friends, Nottingham, UK : October 2006
"This is a beautifully furnished and maintained property with ample room and well equipped for 8. The views are spectacular! Gives a whole new experience of eating outside when sitting on the terrace overlooking the bay and the islands. I'm sure we will be back! It is true to the advice provided that it is not suitable for the elderly or those who cannot mange steps and slopes."

Kelvin & Beryl Ginders, Staffordshire, UK : September 2006
"A very spacious and well equipped villa with outstanding views over the adjacent Greek Islands. A great base for exploring the surrounding villages and towns. The owners have been very helpful and have provided lots of assistance with car-hire, eating out etc. The terraces are especially nice for BBQing and relaxing. Great overall holiday and would recommend to our friends."

Mr & Mrs Stephen Woodcock & Family, Cheshire, UK : August 2006
"An excellent villa fully equipped with everything you would have at home you could not ask for any better, the villa has superb views from the master bedroom and the terraces. Cliff has 3 information packs and all the necessary information at the villa to ensure you get the most out of your vacation. Would highly recommend as you will be well looked after, and I and my family and friends will return. Thanks for a five star villa , excellent value, great location made it a great holiday."

Mrs Teresa Tickoo & Family, Bristol, UK : August 2006
" Lovely villa, very well equipt. Very restful location. Wonderful pool with fabulous view. Lots of useful information provided to help you plan an excellent holiday. Lots of places to visit if you can drag yourself away from the pool. Great restaurants in nearby villages and towns. We found fresh sea bass at a local market and barbequed at the villa whilst the sun set over the islands in the distance. Delicious !"

Jason & Jennifer Hirst , Ontario, Canada : July 2006
"What a fantastic property!!! The Villa was well equipped and we especially liked the information booklet which explained all the details about the villa and surrounding area.  We would recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing and beautiful setting with stunning views for a holiday. The town of Gumusluk is a great place for dinner and day trip. The larger town of Bodrum is close and and very accessible by Dolmus. We had a great time."

John & Jenny Poole Yorkshire, UK : June 2006
"When a holiday is full of highlights, where do you begin? Villa Adakani is the perfect location, location, location! Everyday from morning to night you overlook the Aegean, across lovely blue sea to the Greek Islands. Where else can you sleep at night in almost silence, or go to a private beach area almost uninhabited. Yet 5 minutes walk to the local bus stop and a 5 minute ride and you arrive in the tranquil fishing village of Gumusluk with its fantastic fish restaurants. So much more to say, so much more to do, please can we come back for more?"

Miss Sue Hill & Family, Somerset, UK : June 2006
"The villa is in an excellent position with fabulous panoramic views - very quiet relaxing spot. Very clean & comfortable & equipped. Handy having 2 bathrooms, one being downstairs. We spent lots of time on the balconies. It's within easy reach of other lovely bays & also Gumusluk which has fantastic fish restaurants."

Adrian & Suzanne Fowlie, Aberdeenshire, UK :  May/June 2006

"The facilities were excellent. It was home from home" "Errol (the gardener) was a lovely friendly lad who would do whatever he could for you, deliver bread, water etc" "A wonderful holiday & look forward to returning next year"

Laura & Gareth Patalong, Leek, Staffordshire, UK : July 2005
"We had a great time at villa adakani and shared the accommodation with two other couples. The villa was very spacious with plenty of room for everyone and has views from the terraces that are out of this world. We looked forward to getting together at night to eat, drink and talk on the bottom terrace and then watch the sunset" "Although we did not have a car we found the bus service very easy to use and travelled into Bodrum, Turgutreis and Gumusluk on a regular basis"

Kelly & Jim Emery, Stoke-on-Trent, UK : July 2005
"Excellent Holiday and Excellent Villa. Made us realize what a fantastic place Turkey is for a holiday. Glorious sun, beautiful views, temperatures in the high 90s, Bodrum nightlife and Gumusluk restaurants. Sitting out on the terrace at night with a Bacardi. We are missing it already.
"

Lee and Erin Stones, Stoke-on-Trent, UK : July 2005
"We stayed at the Villa Adakani in July 2005 as a party of 6 and found the Villa to be very clean, spacious and homely . Although the Villa isn't located in a town center, we still found it very easy to spend our evenings eating and drinking in either Bodrum, Gumusluk or Turgutries as the local bus service is excellent, cheap and runs all through the night from just up the road. The Views from the Villa Adakani are superb, and ideal for spending nights on the terrace watching the sun set and then rise. Excellent holiday all round and look forward to visiting again."

Joy and Peter Bennett, Staffordshire, UK : June 2005
The villa is comfortable and well laid out with plenty of room for us all. The property was in a beautiful position, with a breathtaking view from the patio, from which we could enjoy spectacular views of the sunset every evening. The villa itself was extremely well equipped (the best we've ever experienced) and very comfortable. Lovely surroundings on the "estate" with huge pool - very often the only ones there in the morning!  We also appreciated the care of the owners beforehand and after, who were keen to ensure that we had a good holiday and were extremely helpful in giving guidance and advice about the villa and surroundings, including car hire.  Over all we had a wonderful holiday, and have already recommended the villa to many friends. The local bus service was very reliable and cheap and we used that to travel to Turgutreis and Gumusluk. We  also had a hire car which enabled us to explore the coastline and travel into Bodrum.  Errol (the gardener) was more than helpful in fetching fresh bread and water, when we did not want to venture far.  For those wanting a relaxing time, you could not want for anything more.  We look forward to returning with friends in the future.

Mr & Mrs Armstrong, Staffordshire, UK : May 2005
"We were very impressed with the villa overall ... We enjoyed our stay very much and will be booking for the same time next year if that's OK"

Mick & Sandra Bradbury, Staffordshire, UK : April 2005
A very clean and spacious villa in a lovely location. Ideal if you like to watch all the different boats and ships that sail past. A well-equipped villa with a good selection of Music, Satellite & DVD entertainment. Although the villa is in a quiet and rural area we appreciated this peaceful atmosphere. As the weather was not too hot we were able to do a lot of walking and exploring. At night time a short bus ride or car journey soon takes you to plenty of restaurants or the brighter lights of Bodrum. An ideal location for a relaxing holiday with easy access to all the towns in the Bodrum Peninsula. Thoroughly enjoyed it and wished we had stayed for two weeks.
